Born April 12, 1926, in Neshoba County, Miss., daughter of the late William Andrew Jackson and Julia Rebecca Everett Green, she had been a caseworker for the Division of Family Services and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Morehouse.
On Jan. 18, 1945, in Philadelphia, Miss., she married William "Alton" Bohannon, who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: two daughters and one son-in-law, Amaryllis "Ann" and Terry McDonald of Malden and Donna Sue Davidson of Scott City; three grandchildren and their spouses, Shane and Holli McDonald of Belleville, Ill., Spencer and Rebecca McDonald of Heidelberg, Germany, and Brent Miederhoff of Advance; and one great-grandson, Trevor McDonald of Belleville.
She was preceded in death by three stepbrothers and three stepsisters.
Visitation is from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel, where services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday. The Rev. Randy Conn of First Baptist Church of Morehouse will officiate, assisted by the Rev. Dolan Rogers.
Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Shane McDonald, Spencer McDonald, Brent Miederhoff, Allen Brown, Brian Dial and Dennis Bohannon.
