SIKESTON - Jackie Webster Towe, 66, died Feb. 19, 2007, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
Born March 29, 1940, in Lamar, Ark., to the late John Virgil and Pearl Smith Towe, he was of the Pentecostal belief. He worked for Bridger Plumber and Heating for many years and later was a self-employed contractor before retiring.
On Jan. 25, 1957, he married Maurine Bridger, who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one son, Allen Towe of Sikeston; one brother, Winford Towe of Morehouse; two sisters, Pauline Farr Cole of the state of Colorado and Marie Burton of Morley; three grandchildren, Becky Lynn Towe of St. Louis and Laura Leigh Vaughn and Tiffany Marie Towe of Sikeston; and two great-
grandchildren, Makayla Towe and Lauren Towe of Sikeston.
One grandson, Damon Lee Towe preceded him in death.
Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at Ponder Funeral Home, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday. The Rev. Tim Russell, pastor of the Lighthouse Church in Dexter, and the Rev. Gaylon Butler, an evangelist, will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
