SIKESTON -- Edna Louise Warren, a dear saint of God, left this world to be with her Lord and Savior on this day, Sunday March 4, 2007. She left this earth at the time of 4 a.m. from Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. She is now embraced in her Heavenly Father's loving arms in glory.

She was born Aug. 31, 1928, in St. Louis, daughter of the late James and Sally Moody Cathey. She was the minister of worship, pianist and ladies' auxiliary leader for many years. Since her new birth in 1957, her life was dedicated to her Lord and Savior.

She was preceded in death by both of her parents; three brothers, Carl Cathey, Eugene Cathey and Richard Cathey; and one grandson, Perry Wilson.

She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Pastor Charles Warren of Sikeston; two sons, Jimmy Wilson and Jerome Wilson; and one daughter, Charlene Warren Stone, all of Sikeston; six grandchildren, including one granddaughter, Jessica Stone of Sikeston; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Ponder Funeral Home where services will be held a 1 p.m. Tuesday. Pastor Williard Walls of Gospel Tabernacle in Princeton, Ky., will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
