PENSACOLA, Fla. - Pretshie Ann "Sissy Ann" Abernathy Ellsworth, 64, formerly of Morley, Mo., died at 12:15 a.m., April 2, 2007, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola.
Born June 5, 1942, near Oran, Mo., to the late Henry William and Levadie Mae Hoxworth Abernathy, she was a homemaker and a member of Pine Forest Assembly of God Church in Pensacola.
On Dec. 15, 1959, in Sikeston, Mo., she married Frank D. Ellsworth, who survives of the home in Pensacola.
Other survivors include: two sons and daughters-in-law, William Allan and Bobbie Ellsworth and Thomas Christopher and Carol Ellsworth of Pensacola; two brothers, Leroy Abernathy and Bob Abernathy of Morley; three sisters, Fern Thomas of Oran, Tinia Clark of Dexter, Mo. and Violet Farmer of Sikeston; three grandchildren, Joseph and Krystal Ellsworth and Michael Ellsworth of Pensacola and Krystle Ellsworth of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; and two great-grandchildren, Kayla Lynn Epley and Christopher Joseph "C.J." Ellsworth of Pensacola.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Charlie Abernathy and Johnie Abernathy; and four sisters, Mary Carver, Rosie Abernathy, Maudie Denton and Betty Jean Huffman.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, where services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday. The Revs. Gene Hudson and Glen Vaughn, both of Pensacola, will officiate.
Burial will follow in the New Morley Cemetery.
