Bob Gee

PORTAGEVILLE - Robert "Bob" Gee, 81, died April 14, 2007, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Born July 3, 1925, at Parma, son of the late Solon T. and Pauline Meek Gee, he farmed in the Frailey area for 36 years. A member of the First United Methodist Church in Portageville, he was a merchant seaman during World War II and later served in the U.S. Army Tank Corp attached to the 88th Division in Italy.

Survivors include: his wife, Irene of the home: one son and daughter-in-law, Robert W. and Emily Gee of Portageville; one daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia and Jim Wine of Jackson; one sister, Kathlyn Crouch of Richmond, Ind.; three grandchildren and their spouses, Erin and Michael Jeffries of Portageville, Andy and Angela Wine of Jackson and Sarah Petrovich of Nixa; and one great-

grandson, Connor Jeffries of Portageville.

Funeral services were conducted today at First United Methodist Church in Portageville. The Revs. Ron Dunavin and Leland Butler officiated.

Burial followed in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston

DeLisle Funeral Home of Portageville was in charge of arrangements.
