Marking milestones
AECI employees honored 25, 30,35 years of service
NEW MADRID - Associated Electric Cooperative Inc. recently highlighted employees' achievements and contributions to the cooperative's success during its annual employee recognition event.
Recognized for 35 years of service with the cooperative were Michael A. Barnes, assistant shift supervisor, and Barry L. Mitchem, operations superintendent, at New Madrid Power Plant.
Employees at the power plant who will reach 30 years with AECI this year are James A. Crawford, journeyman machinist/mechanic; Jacques P. DeLisle, journeyman instrumentation technician specialist; Terry A. Hadder, journeyman welder/mechanic; Richard E. Ivie Jr., journeyman electrician specialist; Kevin L. Ivy, journeyman instrumentation technician specialist; and Wendell W. Thompson, control room operator with training.
Celebrating their 25th year with the cooperative in 2007 are Larry Binion and Thomas W. Dial, journeyman mechanics; Jack J. Estes, yard equipment operator; James S. Howell, shift supervisor; Judith L. Johnson, warehouseman; Stanley E. Jones, journeyman mechanic; James M. Nickell, control room operator with training; and Anthony Sims, journeyman electrician specialist.
