JACKSON -- Jamie Nichole Lowes and Ricky A. Eftink Jr. were united in marriage during a 3 p.m. ceremony Sept. 16, 2006, at First Baptist Church in Jackson. The Rev. Ed Carter performed the ceremony.
Parents of the bride are James and Kathy Lowes of Jackson and the bridegroom is the son of Rick and Pam Eftink of Oran.
Providing music for the occasion were vocalist Karen Benefield and musician Geri Beussink.
Kandra Baker of Jackson served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Ginger Malone and Joni Schemel of Jackson, sisters of the bride; Cherie Isom of Joplin; April Eftink of Oran, sister of the bridegroom; and Rebecca Lange of Oran.
Flower girl was Kayla Schemel, niece of the bride and daughter of Greg and Joni Schemel of Jackson.
Ryan Chailland of Oran was best man. Groomsmen were Justin Todt, Aaron Graviett and Roy Buell of Oran, Jeff Rowe of Marble Hill and Josh deButts of Inwood, W.Va.,
Candle lighters were Casey Enderle of Perkinston, Miss.; Kara Leeber of Jackson; Jerry Malone of Jackson, brother-in-law of the bride; and Greg Schemel of Jackson, brother-in-law of the bride.
A reception followed at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Jackson. Reception assistants were Retta Miller of Cape Girardeau and Ruby Voshage, Lynda King, Joy Baker and Kathy Horn, all of Jackson.
A rehearsal dinner was hosted by the bridegroom's parents at Knights of Columbus Hall in Jackson.
Following a wedding trip to Cancun, Mexico, the new Mr. and Mrs. Eftink are making their home in Jackson.
