POPLAR BLUFF -- William "Bill" Bryeans, 82, died at 5:24 a.m. May 30, 2007, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
Born April 11, 1925, at Morley, he was the son of the late Claude Pearl and Ida May Osborn Bryeans. A U.S. Navy veteran who served during World War II, he was a retired maintenance supervisor from Sears Youth Center in Poplar Bluff and a member of Providence Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff.
On June 8, 1951, he married Carmela Isaacs who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Mary Bryeans of Poplar Bluff; one daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Bill Burfield of Poplar Bluff; and two grandchildren, Alex Burfield and Adrienne Burfield of Poplar Bluff.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, three brothers and two sisters.
Visitation is from 5-7 p.m. today at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Oran. Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Westside Church of God in Poplar Bluff with the Rev. Dennis Ward officiating.
Burial with full military rites will follow at 2 p.m. at the New Morley Cemetery in Morley.
