CHEVY CHASE, Md. - Building upon the success of the $1 million 2006-07 program, the J.C. Penney Afterschool Fund has increased its support of 4-H and granted National 4-H Council $1.13 million to continue to provide youth with access to quality after-school programs in 2007-2008. The donation will help families with limited financial resources enroll or keep their children in community-based after-school programs such as 4-H Afterschool.
