SIKESTON -- Larry J. Pigg, 67, died March 9, 2007, at his home.
Born March 21, 1939, in New Madrid, son of the late Jack and Estell Stewart Pigg, he was a veteran of the U.S. Army and had been a deck hand for Anderson Barge Lines before retiring.
Survivors include: one sister, Carolyn Altom of Sikeston; and five brothers, Jack Pigg, Paul Pigg and Leonard Pigg of St. Louis, Harry Pigg of Chaffee and Donald Stewart of Tyler, Texas.
One sister, Clara Toler, preceded him in death.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until noon Monday at Ponder Funeral Home. Graveside services with full military rites will follow at 1 p.m. at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield. The Rev. Jerry Adams, pastor of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, will officiate.
