NEW MADRID -- Carolyn Deonna Tanner, 47, died Dec. 2, 2006, at her home.
Born Nov. 13, 1959, at Barstow, Calif., daughter of the late J.R. and Leona Hunt Chambliss, she was a licensed practical nurse.
On Jan. 2, 1990, at Lilbourn, she married Chris Tanner who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one son, Jonathan Weeks, stationed at Hubert Air Force Base in Ft. Walton, Fla.; one daughter and son-in-law, Amanda and Donny Davis of Sikeston; five sisters, Dixie Akins of New Madrid, Nancy Walker of Lilbourn, Judy Keck of Sikeston, Cindy Akins of the state of Kentucky and Teresa Flegal of the state of Oregon; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Jay Chambliss and Scott Chambliss; and one sister, Iris Hayes.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. today at Richards Funeral Home in New Madrid. The Rev. Orvil McKinney will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery at New Madrid.
