PONTOTOC, Miss. -- Roger Allen Brown, 47, formerly of Bertrand, Mo., died Feb. 6, 2007, at the Care Center of Aberdeen at Aberdeen.
Born July 21, 1959, at DeKalb, Ill., daughter of Betty Donaldson Brown of Bertrand and the late J.D. Brown, he lived most of his life in Mississippi County (Mo.) where he was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bertrand. He had lived the past 10 years in Pontotoc and had worked in construction.
In addition to his mother, survivors include: two daughters, Ashley Kathleen Brown and Amanda Leigh Brown of the state of Washington; one brother, Mike Brown of Charleston, Mo.; five sisters, Barbara Norman and Pansy Phillips of Charleston, Michelle Garrett of Sikeston, Mo., Carla Skinner of North Ridgeville, Ohio, and Donna Chiofalo of Schenectady, N.Y.; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Two brothers, James Brown and Jerry Wayne Brown; and one sister, Cheryl Renae Brown, preceded him in death.
Visitation is from 11 a.m. until time of services at 1 p.m. Friday at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. The Rev. Dolan Rogers, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Bertrand, will officiate.
Burial will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery near Charleston.
