OLIVE BRANCH, Ill. - Harry Emerson Coleson, 74, died at 12:25 a.m. Feb. 6, 2007, at his home, following an extended illness.
Born Feb. 13, 1932, in Pulaski, he was the son of the late Lloyd Edgar Coleson and Ruby Harp Coleson Rogers. He attended Trinity Assembly of God Church in Olive Branch.
On Jan. 28, 1961, in Olive Branch, he married Mary Marie DeWeese who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: three sons, David Emerson Coleson, Daniel Ray Coleson and Paul Wayne Coleson of the home; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Marian Sams and Sharon and Harold Foster of Olive Branch and Judy and Gerald Perkins of Seymour, Tenn.; and three brothers and sisters-in-law, Jim and Barbara Coleson of Charleston, Mo., Herschel and Wendy Coleson Sr. of Olive Branch and Tom and Kay Coleson Sr. of Advance, Mo.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Richard Coleson, Floyd "Sonny" Coleson, LeRoy Coleson and Billy Joe Coleson.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Crain Funeral Home in Tamms.
Visitation will continue from 1 p.m. Thursday until service time at 2 p.m. at Trinity Assembly of God Church. The Rev. Joshua McKinney, pastor, will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Olive Branch Cemetery.
