MEMPHIS, Tenn. - D'Ann Davis, 42, formerly of Sikeston, Mo., died Dec. 30, 2006, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis.
Born Dec. 14, 1964, in Sikeston, to Gearlene Luttrell of Sikeston and Emerson Jackson Jr. of St. Louis, she was a 1983 graduate of Sikeston High School, attended Southeast Missouri State University, where she earned an R.N. nursing degree in 1989. She was formerly employed by Missouri Delta Medical Center and was currently employed by Family Home Health Center in Memphis, where she was recently promoted as administrator. She was a member of Hope of Glory Church of God in Christ, where she served as missionary.
On June 20, 1987, she married Randy D. Davis, who survives.
In addition to her parents, other survivors include: one son, Randy D. Davis Jr. of Memphis; two daughters, Tiara Davis of Sikeston and Ariana Davis of Memphis; two brothers, Derek Luttrell of Sikeston and Emerson Jackson III of St. Louis, Mo.; four sisters and one brother-in-law, Delisa Jackson and Cheryl and Michael Sims of Sikeston, Sonya Jackson and Dionna Jackson of St. Louis; maternal grandmother, Mattie Riggs of Sikeston; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter.
Visitation is from 10 a.m. until time of services at noon Saturday at Green Memorial Church of God in Christ in Sikeston. Clinton Bryant will officiate.
Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston with Williams Funeral Home of Sikeston in charge of arrangements.
