SIKESTON - Due to the New Year's Day holiday, the Standard Democrat office will be closed on Monday and no paper will be printed. The office will reopen at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday and publication will resume. The employees at the Standard Democrat wish all of our readers and their families a happy and prosperous new year.
