BLOOMFIELD -- James D. Bowling, 83, died Nov. 4, 2006, at the Golden Living Center.
Born Dec. 28, 1922, in Guntersville, Ala., son of the late James Henry and Comilla Tedder Bowling, he lived most of his life in Bloomfield where he was a member of and served as deacon for the First Baptist Church.
On Oct. 25, 1941, in New Madrid, he married Lois Haskins.
Survivors include: one daughter, Lesa Uht of Bloomfield; and two grandchildren, Jonathan Uht of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Sara Uht of Bloomfield; and one great-grandchild.
Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
