IMBODEN, Ark. -- Adreianna "Onnie" Sturgeon Hawkins, 37, formerly of East Prairie, Mo., died at 12:55 p.m. April 7, 2007, at her home.
Born April 7, 1970, in Metropolis, Ill., to the late Joe Howard and Ruth Cave Sturgeon, she was a 1988 graduate of New Madrid County High School. She lived in Imboden for the past seven years where she was manager of the Pocahontas Medical Clinic in Pocahontas. She was a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church of Annieville.
On Nov. 4, 2000, she married Anthony Hawkins who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one son, Kade Hawkins of the home; one sister, Leilia Johnson of East Prairie; one brother, Todd Quentin Sturgeon of Van Buren, Mo.; one niece, Ashley Johnson of East Prairie; and also by David Jackson of East Prairie and several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the McNabb Funeral Home in Pocahontas. Services will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Annieville with Ricky Hawkins and Jerry Clements officiating.
Burial will follow in the Hope Cemetery at Imboden.
Pallbearers will be: Dr. Michael Hong, Blaine Gibbs, Don Hequembourg, Jimmy Cave, Scott Hequembourg and Terry Dixon.
