Buster Lacewell

MALDEN - Connie Eugene "Buster" Lacewell, 69, died Jan. 29, 2007, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Born May 20, 1937, in Malden, to the late Daniel Lincoln and Virgie Mary Neal Lacewell, he was a farmer and affiliated with Spoonerville Baptist Church in Malden.

On May 23, 1962, at Malden, he married Helen Faye Batchelor, who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: two sons and one daughter-in-law, Bill and Michele Lacewell of Bernie and Bobby Lacewell of Malden; one brother, Carmel Lacewell of Gideon; two sisters, Dorothy Longinette of St. Charles and Virginia Walker of Holcomb; and five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Jerrod Lacewell.

Visitation is at 6 p.m. today at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden, where services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday. The Rev. Richard Blagg will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Rosewood Cemetery at Malden.
