Elva Frederick

KENNETT - Elva Mae Frederick, 82, died Jan. 28, 2007, at her home in Kennett.

Born Nov. 27, 1924, in Qulin, to the late John Fred and Ida Jane Tonerlin Piatt, she was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and a retired employee of Gossard in Malden where she worked as a pinner and examiner.

On May 7, 1972, at Risco, she married Theotis Frederick, who preceded her in death on Oct. 7, 1998.

Also preceding her in death were three brothers, Curtis, Earl and Bill Piatt; one half-brother, Jack Piatt; and one great-grandson.

Survivors include: three daughters and two sons-in-law, Peggy and R.L. Evans of Risco, Sandy Fuemmeler of Lebanon and Charlotte and Buddy Winchester of Caruthersville; two stepdaughters and sons-in-law, Sheila and Jerry Franks of Holcomb and Sandra and Darrell Whisenant of Bull Shoals, Ark.; one half-

brother, Dewey Piatt of Qulin; and 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. today at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Kennett with the Rev. Doug Clinton officiating.

Burial followed at Memorial Gardens in Kennett.
