SALTILLO, Tenn. -- Gene Bingham, 73, died Nov. 6, 2006, at West Tennessee Transitional Center in Jackson.
Born to the late George Levert and Mary Exie Smith Bingham, he was a plant technician for Adamsville CenturyTel Phone Service and member of Saltillo Methodist Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
His wife, Martha Littlefield Bingham, preceded him in death.
He was also preceded in death by one great-nephew, Clint Martin.
Survivors include: one daughter, Jena Margaret Cook and her husband, Phillip of Sikeston, Mo.; one sister, Patsy Parker, and her husband, Wallace Allen of Saltillo; three grandchildren, Trey Cook, Sarah Cook and Sam Cook; two nephews, Mike Parker and his wife, Kathy, and Joe Parker and his wife, Faye; two nieces, Angie Brown and her husband, Donnie, and Mary Martin and her husband, Randy; and nine great-nieces and two great-nephews.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Saltillo Methodist Church in Saltillo. Brian Griffith will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Pine Hill Memorial Garden at Adamsville.
