CHAFFEE - Frances Louise Slinkard, 75, died at 8:35 p.m. Nov. 21, 2006, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
Born June 27, 1931, at Dexter, to the late Florence Evelyn Goodman and William Sherman Davenport, she was a homemaker and a member of First Assembly of God Church in Chaffee.
On Dec. 22, 1951, she married Norman Leo Curd, who preceded her in death. On Dec. 14, 1963, she married Billy Ray Slinkard, who preceded her in death on Feb. 26, 1980.
Survivors include: four sons, Larry Curd of Creal Springs, Ill., Ricky Curd of Scott City and Keith Curd and John M. Slinkard of Chaffee; two daughters, Modonna Fledderman of Cape Girardeau and Charlotte Rister of Chaffee; three stepdaughters, Mary Lou Hamilton of Lowndes, Dixie Lee Sadler of Scott City and Ruth Ann Slinkard of Chaffee; one brother, Robert Horman of Tampa, Fla.; three sisters, Elizabeth Cummins, Carletta Streeter and Rhonda Emerson of Chaffee; and 11 grandchildren; 13 stepgrandchildren and seven great-
Visitation is after 4 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. Darren Larkin will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Union Park Cemetery at Chaffee.
