Marjorie Billington

KEVIL, Ky. - Marjorie Lanell Billington, 83, formerly of Malden, Mo., and Dexter, Mo., died Oct. 18, 2006, at her home in Kevil.

Born Jan. 14, 1923, at Rose Bud, Ark., to the late David Franklin and Bertha Elizabeth Varner Troxell, she was a homemaker and of the General Baptist belief.

On Jan. 25, 1941, at Sikeston, Mo., she married Marion "Bill" Billington, who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Marion Gene and Cindy Billington of Paducah; and one granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Brandi and Nicholas Schieffer.

One brother, Howard Troxell, preceded her in death.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter, Mo., where services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday. The Rev. Josh Carpenter will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
