Born Nov. 21, 1941, in Como, to the late Claude and Pauline Gregory Lovette, she had lived the past several years in Dexter where she was a homemaker and attended the Lighthouse Christian Center.
On Sept. 1, 1956, in Hernando, Miss., she married Cletis Borders, who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: two daughters, Kim Long and Karla Bridges, both of Dexter; two grandsons, Matthew Long and Bruce Jones Jr. of Dexter; four granddaughters, Krista Gross of Bloomfield, Michelle Haynes of Dudley, Hayley Bridges and Kayleigh Bridges of Dexter; one great-grandson, Kyan Long of Dexter; and two great-granddaughters, Allyssa Gross of Bloomfield and Lindsey Haynes of Dudley.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Billy Lovette; and one sister, Faye Lovette.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter. The Rev. Tim Russell of Dexter officiated.
Burial followed in the Dexter Cemetery.
