Born April 13, 1965, in Charleston, to the late Laudy Forrest and Elzetta Jordan Chandler, he had lived a number of years in Texarkana where he was the owner of Chandler Landscaping.
On Nov. 5, 2005, he married Marsha St. Clair, who survives.
Other survivors include: one son, Christopher Gene Chandler of Clarksville, Ga.; one stepson, Michael Bradley Daniels of Texarkana; one stepdaughter, Stacey Nicole Daniels of Texarkana; four brothers, Robert Chandler and Wilford Chandler of Texarkana, Forrest Chandler of Little Rock, Ark. and Joe Chandler of Charleston; five sisters, Freda Quertermous and Mary Jones of Charleston, Zetta Bell of Cape Girardeau, Mo., Martha Norris of Marble Hill, Mo. and Debbie McClendon of Clarksville; and one half sister, Hazel Zimmerman of East Prairie, Mo.
One half brother, Bob Chandler; and two half sisters, Thelma Medlock and Scena Leigh Hale, preceded him in death.
Visitation is from 11 a.m. until time of services at 1 p.m. Friday at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. A eulogy will be given by his sister, Debbie McClendon.
Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.
Pallbearers will be: Chris Chandler, Joe Chandler, Kenny Chandler, Glenn Quertermous, Kent Chandler and Cal Manning.
