NASHVILLE, Ark. -- Jordan Nicole Mauk, 12, died Nov. 10, 2006 in Nashville.
Born Feb. 12, 1994, in Texarkana, Texas, daughter of David and Annette Purifoy Mauk of Nashville, she was a sixth grade student at Nashville Public School. She attended the Sunset Church of Christ in Nashville, was a member of the 4-H Shooting Stars, in the Elementary Band and was a fifth-year student in the Nashville Dance Academy.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by: one sister Cori Mauk of Nashville; grandparents, Jeannette Purifoy of Nashville and Robert Purifoy of Texarkana; uncles and aunts, Dennis and Lisa Mauk, Cheryle and Perry Hawkins, Robin and Billy Teer and Richard and Sheila Mauk of Texarkana, Lisa and Mark Presley of Red Water, Texas, and Ronda and Ted Haynes of Wichita Falls, Texas; and 16 cousins and a host of other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents Charles Fredrick Mauk and Ruby Lee Mauk, and her great- grandmother, Rosa P. Mauk, who all used to reside in Lilbourn, Mo.
Services were held Monday at Sunset Church of Christ in Nashville with David Williams and Cris Hooten officiating.
Burial followed in East Memorial Gardens in Texarkana under the direction of Nashville Funeral Home.
