Pat Patterson

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. - James "Pat" Patterson, 66, formerly of Gray Ridge, died at 12:45 p.m. Sept. 20, 2006, at St. Lucie Medical Center.

Born Nov. 24, 1941, in Advance, son of the late Victor and Marie Bess Patterson, he was a self-employed carpenter and attended school at Gray Ridge. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in St. Lucie.

Survivors include: one son, Pat Patterson of Kansas City, Mo.; three daughters, Missy Rueten and Patricia "Patty" Convick of Kansas City and Jamie Cook of Stewart; three brothers, Cletus Patterson of Essex, Mo., Ronnie Patterson of Dexter, Mo. and Weldon Kirk of Paris, Texas; two sisters, Della Graham of Morehouse, Mo. and Joyce Agee of North Pekin, Ill.; and eight grandchildren; and a special friend, Rita.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Junior Patterson and Homer Patterson.

Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Cline's Island General Baptist Church. The Rev. Ronnie Ledbetter will officiate.
