Born Feb. 8, 1931, in Akron, Ohio, to the late John and Gertrude Weatherspoon Myers, she was a longtime employee of Missouri Delta Community Medical Center and attended the Cowboy Church in Sikeston.
Survivors include: one son, James Leon Myers of Belding, Mich.; three daughters, Jane Surface of Sikeston, Anita Myers of Clifton, N.J., and Rhonda Burns of Bakersfield, Calif.; one brother, Jack Myers of Knoxville, Tenn.; four sisters, Anita Ray of Sikeston, Willie Blake of Elkton, Ky., Bernice Williams of Charleston and Mildred Northern of Bertrand; and 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two daughters, Elizabeth "Betsy" Rardon and Kimberley Myers, one brother and one sister.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston, where services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Randy Eskew will officiate.
Burial will follow in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Carl McCoy, Dusty Myers, Zack Myers, Brandon Tinnon, John Burns and Randy Stark.
