Linda Johnson

DEXTER -- Linda Kay Johnson, 60, died Jan. 12, 2007, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Born April 13, 1946, in Valley Park, she was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Dexter, a former cashier at Piggly Wiggly Supermarket in Dexter, and a former door inspector with WW Wood Products in Dudley.

On Feb. 12, 1982, in Bloomfield, she married Jerry L. Johnson who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: two daughters, Garilin Duley and Sheri Rickel of Dexter; one stepson, Kenneth D. Johnson of Bloomfield; one stepdaughter, Kimberly Mae Sherfield of Essex; two sisters, Joyce Heinemann of Camdenton and Mary Sell of Washington; and 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

One brother, Harold Ashley, preceded her in death.

A memorial service was held Monday at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter. The Revs. Louis Lowe and Phil Warren officiated.
