Property removed

Mike Bohannon, former Land Clearance Redevelopment Commission chairman; Trey Hardy, City of Sikeston code enforcement supervisor and community redevelopment coordinator; A.C. James, demolition contractor; and David Ziegenhorn, Land Clearance Redevelopment Commission chairman, look over 800 W. North, the old Riggs building. The LCRA is in the process of removing the 40-plus-year-old building from the corner of Bowman and W. North which was in a two year legal process to obtain the property. Currently the LCRA has 144 properties that it owns and 50 more on a target list to be removed.
