KENNETT -- Thomas Earl Branum, 87, died Nov. 18, 2006, at Kennett.
Born July 13, 1919, at Hornersville, son of the late Thomas Jefferson and Alice Hastings Branum, he was affiliated with the First Baptist Church of Kennett.
He married Juanita Pepple who preceded him in death. He later married Betty Averett who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Beck Branum of New Madrid; two stepdaughters, Randi Markham of Sikeston and Teresa Owen of Bonne Terre; two daughters-in-law, Janice Branum and Joan Deschamp; and two grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, five great-great-
grandchildren, two stepgrandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren.
In addition to his first wife and parents, he was also preceded in death by two sons, Tommy Eugene and Jimmy Dale Branum; one daughter, Joy Lynn Renfrow; five brother, Lee Branum, Charley Branum, Milt Branum, Willie Branum and Chester Branum; and two sisters, Beryl Holmes and Nellie Hanners.
Visitation is from 4:30 to 8 p.m. at McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett where services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday. The Revs. Ed Jansson and Ted Wimberley will officiate.
Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.
Pallbearers will be: Ron Branum, Scott Branum, Steve Branum, Dave Hanners, Larry Griggs and Dale Lynn.
Honorary pallbearers will be: Dan Crawford, Troy Rebstock, Kevin Casey, Maurice Wallace, Charlie Arthur, Charles Crawford, Joe Rose, C.M. Smith, Kenneth Henson, Robert Cook, Roger Montgomery, Henry Deeter, Max Averett, Jerry Averett, Carol Moore, Bud Sweeney and Calvin Holt.
