Mindy Towe, daughter of Gary Joe and Alice Towe, is the Standard Democrat's Calendar Girl for September. A finalist in the 2005 Miss Sikeston Contest, Miss Towe is a 2006 graduate of Sikeston High School and currently attending Missouri State University where she is majoring in anthropology.
