Sikeston netters drop second straight

DEXTER - The Sikeston Lady Bulldogs tennis team dropped a road match on Wednesday at Dexter with a 5-4 loss.

Sikeston singles winners were Jenni DeWitt and Tess Marshall. In doubles, DeWitt and Marshall teamed for a win as did Danielle Ahlfield and Megan Underhill.

"Jenni and Dexter's Amanda Dooley had a great match," said Sikeston head coach Lynne DeWitt. "Tess had a good close match with Lauren Miller and she really played consistent all match long. Danielle and Megan had a great doubles match and they worked real well together as a team."

The Lady Bulldogs will return to action on Tuesday and will host Jackson at 4 p.m.
