PORTAGEVILLE -- Vonree Camille Crockett, 95, died Sept. 13, 2006, at Twin River Medical Center in Kennett.
Born May 6, 1911, at Marston, daughter of the late Claude and Pearl Hodges Schoolfield, she was a long-time resident of Portageville and had resided the past three years at Gideon Residential Care Center. She was a bookkeeper for Hayti School District until her retirement. She was a member of the Portageville First Baptist Church and very much enjoyed working in different areas of the church.
Survivors include: one daughter, Beth Lewis of New Madrid; one daughter-in-
law, Anna Jane Crockett of New Madrid; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Clarence and Geraldine Schoolfield of Kissimmee, Fla., and Ronald and Betty Schoolfield of Dexter; six grandchildren, Edward and Martin Lewis, Maria Carter, Cathy Crockett, Denny Crockett and Lindy Crockett-Baker; and nine great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, three sons, Dale, Jerry and Dennis Crockett; two brothers, Claude and Ventress Schoolfield; and one sister, Millie Davis, also preceded her in death.
Visitation is from 11 a.m. until time of services at 2 p.m. Saturday at DeLisle Funeral Home in Portageville. Dr. Buck Morton will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Portageville Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Logan Farrenburg, Adam Farrenburg, Tyler Baker, Seth Baker, Adam Braun and Mark Tilly.
