SIKESTON - Elizabeth Anne Divinny, 84, died Dec. 31, 2006, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born June 13, 1922, in Sikeston, to the late George T. and Laura Lee Turner Johnson, she was employed by Southwestern Bell Telephone and later Quality Stamps. She attended Tanner Street Church of God.
In 1950, at Piggott, Ark., she married George Divinny, who preceded her in death in December 1978.
Also she was preceded in death by one brother, Gene Johnson.
Survivors include: one son, Gary Divinny of Sikeston; one sister, Rose Marie Parker of Sikeston; one sister-in-law, Charlotte Johnson of Sikeston; one niece, Susan Duncan of the state of Ohio; one nephew, David Parker of Sikeston; two great-nieces, Laura Couch and Amanda Rose Parker of Sikeston; one great-
nephew, Chris Davidson of Sikeston; one cousin, Jerry White of Sikeston; and a special friend, Lova Dickson of Sikeston.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today, with an Eagles service at 7 p.m., at the Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Carl Addison, pastor of the Tanner Street Church of God, will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Stan Harris, Roger Beck, Nate Hawkins, J.D. Moore, Myron Vanover and Rayburn Evans.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Terrell and J.R. Sullivan.
