Leon Cobb

BERNIE -- Leon Cobb, 58, died Aug. 15, 2006, at Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter.

Born May 29, 1948, at Success, Ark. son of the late Clarence and Nancy Elizabeth Lyons Cobb, he had worked for Bernie Farmers Fertilizer.

On June 11, 1967, at New Madrid, he married Paulette Orr, who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: three sons, Jeffery Leon Cobb of Lawrenceburg, Tenn., Anthony Eugene Cobb of Bernie and Justin Dewayne Cobb of Dexter; one daughter, Paula Vaughn of Gray Ridge; four brothers, Bobby Joe Cobb, Jerry Cobb, Gene Cobb and Willie Cobb all of Bernie; three sisters, Wretha Minton of Bernie, Vernell Ross of Malden and Bonnie Fouse of Hoppeston, Ill.; and nine grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie.
