Jo Ann Murray

SPRINGFIELD - Jo Ann Murray, 67, formerly of Sikeston, died Aug. 5, 2006, in Ozark Methodist Manor following a lengthy battle with cancer.

Born June 7, 1939, in Sikeston, daughter of the late Henry C. and Anna Green Murray, she was a 1957 graduate of Sikeston High School and a member of Illinois Baptist Church.

Survivors include: one sister and brother-in-law, Virginia M. and Jere W. Cox of Sikeston; one niece, Lisa Cox Sheehy of Pensacola, Fla.; one nephew, Rick W. Cox of Chandler, Okla.; three great-nephews and one great-niece.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Comelous Carrol Murray.

Services were conducted in Springfield.
