Donald Estes

YORK, Pa. -- Donald Ray Estes, 71, died Jan. 15, 2007, at Veterans Administration Hospital in Lebanon.

Born Nov. 23, 1935, at Millersville, Mo., son of the late Jesse Robert and Ollie Alice Seabaugh Estes Sr., he was a 1955 graduate of Jackson (Mo.) High School. A mechanic with the U.S. Air Force 21 years, retiring in 1976 as a technical sergeant, he was a member of Millersville Baptist Church.

On Oct. 15, 1962, he married Hattie Clements who preceded him in death on Sept. 21, 1966.

He was also preceded in death by six brothers.

Survivors include: three sons, Jerry R. Estes and Tom L. Estes of York and Connor Winai Estes of Cabot, Ark.; one daughter, Susan Brethold of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; one sister, Mary Ann Spurlock of Sikeston, Mo.; and nine grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to service time at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Cracraft-

Miller Funeral Home. Bob Mundis will officiate.

Burial with full military honors will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.
