CAPE GIRARDEAU - Missouri Enterprise, an organization dedicated to helping Missouri businesses succeed, will host a seminar entitled "A Written Marketing Plan: Your Company's Guide To Success" from 9 a.m. to noon Feb. 21 in Room 112 of the Southeast Missouri State University Innovation Center at 920 Broadway.
This seminar is designed to help companies understand that developing a written marketing plan with specific objectives and making a commitment to that plan can significantly improve the chances of meeting their sales and profit goals.
The instructor, Stephanie Huff, Missouri Enterprise project manager and marketing specialist, will explain the fundamentals of establishing marketing objectives, meeting customer needs and expectations, creating an effective marketing mix and developing tactics and action plans.

BENTON - Kasey Mathes-Klughart, a district representative with Modern Woodmen of America, was named "Rookie of the Month" in the Missouri East Agency for January.
The honor is given to a full-time representative that has been with Modern Woodmen of America for less than three years and is leading the agency in production.
Mathes-Klughart became full time with Modern Woodmen's Rainwater Agency, located in Farmington, in November.
Modern Woodmen of America is a fraternal life insurance society headquartered in Rock Island, Ill. Modern Woodmen provides life insurance and annuity products to more than 765,000 members.
SIKESTON - Linda Rogers is the Missouri Delta Medical Center's "Employee of the Month." She was honored in November.
Rogers has worked in the personal office at MDMC for over five years and was praised by her nominator for doing an "exceptional job." "She is always very helpful. She follows-through; you can depend on her," said a MDMC employee.
Rogers resides in New Madrid with her husband Steve.
Daniel Borrozo is the Missouri Delta Medical Center's "Employee of the Month" for December.
Borrozo has worked in the housekeeping department at MDMC for almost 11 years. Described as a very quiet person, his nominator added his work speaks for him. "His quality of work is to be commended. He completes all of his tasks without question and meets all our expectations - plus some. We depend on him daily and he produces daily," his nominator said.
