GIDEON - Martha Nimmo Fleetwood, 90, died Nov. 7, 2006, at Gideon Care Center.
Born Aug. 31, 1916, at Pocahontas, Ark., to the late Wesley and Jane Alphice Houston, she was of the Baptist belief.
On Oct. 7, 1957, she married Walter Alvin Nimmo, and he died on Feb. 12, 1984. She later married Noonan "Bud" Fleetwood in 1959, who preceded her in death on July 28, 1992.
One son, Billy Jean Nimmo also preceded her in death.
Survivors include: four sons, Walter Alvin Nimmo of San Antonio, Freeman Larry Nimmo of Quebec, Canada, Curtis Eugene Nimmo of Bernie and Bobby Jean Nimmo of the state of North Carolina; six daughters, Leona Lee Gamble and Mildred Jewell Duncan of Bono, Ark., Hazel Bernice Kincade of Jonesboro, Ark., Owetta Lewis of Gideon, Mary Lucille Gregory of Sikeston and Sharon Kay Hill of Clarkton; and 40 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held at 1 p.m. today at Rosewood Cemetery. The Rev. Andy Evans officiated.
Burial followed under the direction of Bradshaw Funeral Home of Malden, which was in charge of arrangements.
