Vic Ahlfield

ANNISTON - Victor "Vic" Ahlfield, 75, died at 12:19 p.m., May 11, 2007, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born Dec. 3, 1931, in Anniston, he was the son of the late Charles Donald and Mary Josephine Cherry Ahlfield. A retired carpenter, he lived all of his life in Anniston where he was a member of the Anniston Christian Church.

On Nov. 12, 1949, at East Prairie, he married Margie Lorene Chambers, who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: three sons, Charles R. Ahlfield and William D. Ahlfield of Sikeston and Stephen L. Ahlfield of Shannon, Miss.; one sister, Jo Ann Wolford of Cairo, Ill.; and eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

One grandson, William Brian Ahlfield, preceded him in death.

Visitation is at 6 p.m. today at the Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday with Martin Lucas officiating.

Burial will follow in the Anniston Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Reggie Ahlfield, Steve Ahlfield, Trevor Ahlfield, Jacob Ahlfield, Jeff Wilson and Jason Wilson.
