ORAN -- James "Joe" Tate, 89, died Oct. 10, 2006, at The Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

Visitation is after 5 p.m. Thursday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran. Services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Oran Baptist Church.
