SIKESTON -- Meredith Lynne Null and Nickolas Lynn Lillard were united in marriage during a 7 p.m. ceremony Jan. 18, 2008, at Fellowship Baptist Church in Sikeston. The Rev. Joe McCullough officiated. Parents of the bride are James and Paula Null of Sikeston. The bridegroom is the son of Matt and Pam Schmidt of Sikeston and Darrell and Raelynn Lillard of Dexter. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a satin pale champagne halter tea-length dress. The A-line dress featured a shirred waist and front ruching with clear bead embellishments. Allison Null of Sikeston served her sister as maid of honor. Best man was Jarrett Griffin of Dexter. A reception followed in the church's family life center, where guests were served cake, punch and coffee by Summer Ray and Sherri Glover, both of Sikeston. The new Mrs. Lillard plans to continue pursuing a nursing degree in Jacksonville, N.C., where Lillard is a marine stationed at New River Air Station and works as an aircraft mechanic.

The couple are making their home in Jacksonville and will take a wedding trip to Cancun, Mexico, in June.
