Reba Harden

SIKESTON - Reba R. Harden, 84, formerly of East Prairie, died at 11:50 p.m. Nov. 13, 2006, in the East Prairie Nursing Center.

Born Dec. 9, 1921, in East Prairie, to the late Herman and Carmen Sams Puyear, she lived in Sikeston for several years before moving to East Prairie and was a member of the Assembly of God Church.

On Dec. 13, 1942, she married Harvel R. Harden, who preceded her in death on Dec. 7, 1986.

One son, Woodrow Harden; one brother, Billy Puyear; and her stepmother, Ada Puyear, also preceded her in death.

Survivors include: two sons, Jerry Harden and Lynn Harden of Sikeston; one brother, Warren "Hoss" Puyear of East Prairie; two sisters, Katherine Baglyos of Sikeston and Betty Bratcher of East Prairie; and six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is after 5 p.m. Thursday at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday. Mike Johnson will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery.
