BLOOMFIELD - Cecil Ray Bostic, 76, died Jan. 25, 2008, at his home.
Born June 3, 1931, at Lutesville, to the late Benjamin and Catheryn Knuckles Bostic, he was a carpenter and worked at DAEOC for several years. He attended Trinity United Methodist Church in Bloomfield.
On Nov. 13, 1987, he married Thelma Cordle, who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one stepson, Bobby Cordle Jr. of Marion, Ark.; one stepdaughter, Debbie Milan of Turrell, Ark.; two brothers, Jude Bostic of Bloomfield and Melvin Bostic of Sikeston; four grandchildren, two great grandchildren; and a special friend, Don Christian.
He was preceded in death by: one son, Rickey Bostic; three brothers, Hubert Bostic, Floyd Bostic and Elmer Bostic; and five sisters, Sylvia Hunter, Cletta Carver, Hazel Davis, Imogene McCulley and Peggy Bostic.
Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Saturday at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday. The Rev. Susan Hoyle will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Bloomfield Cemetery.
