SIKESTON -- Frankie Irene Jackson, 89, died June 14, 2006, at Miner Nursing Home.
Born Feb. 9, 1917, in Shaw, Miss., daughter of the late Garnie and Frankie Witherspoon Gould, she was a member of Grand Avenue Seven Day Adventist Church in Charleston, where she was a pianist for many years.
In 1941, at Columbus, Miss., she married Emerson Jackson who preceded her in death.
Survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Delcenia and Reo Johnson of Sikeston; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Emerson and Maria Jackson Jr. of St. Louis and Eugene Jackson of Chicago; one nephew, Armistead Gould of Sikeston; and seven grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and two great-
Visitation is from noon until time for services at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Westend Missionary Baptist Church in Sikeston. Fred Montgomery, pastor of Grand Avenue Seven Day Adventist Church, will officiate.
Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery at Sikeston.
