Springfest is coming

The Sikeston Area Chamber of Commerce will be hosting Springfest, beginning Tuesday, June 6, through Saturday, June 10, at the Sikeston Jaycee Rodeo Grounds.

We hope everyone comes out and enjoys the rides and games provided by Miller's Spectacular Shows. Wristband nights will be Tuesday and Thursday from 6 to 10 p.m. and wristbands can be purchased in advance for $10 at the Chamber office.

There will be a matinee with rides for $1.50 per ride on Saturday from 1 to 4:

We would like to thank all the employers who participated in our four-county job fair May 4. We had over 250 prospective employees come through and fill out applications and hopefully find gainful employment in our area. We will co-sponsor another job fair with the Missouri Career Centers on Thursday, Sept. 21, from noon to 6 p.m. at the Clinton Building. If you are interested in participating in the job fair contact the Chamber office.

Please mark your calendar for these upcoming SACC events. Our next membership luncheon will be on June 22 at Fisherman's Net. There will be a Chamber Mixer on June 15 at Joseph's Fine Steaks and J-Bar from 5-7 p.m.
