SIKESTON - Amanda and Darin Newton are the parents of their second child, second daughter, born at 12:55 p.m. Aug. 27, 2006, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. Avery Elizabeth Newton weighed 5 pounds, 10 ounces, and was 18.5 inches long.

Maternal grandparents are James and Jackie Winchester of Mt. Vernon. Great-

grandparent is Donna Winchester of Walnut Ridge, Ark.

Paternal grandparents are Ron and Lynn Newton of Sikeston. Great-

grandparents are Al and Wilma Shaver of Dexter.
