BLOOMFIELD - Two people were arrested on burglary charges Tuesday involving Bloomfield High School.
Michael Dicks, 22, and Joshua Ervin, 17, both of Bloomfield, were charged with two counts of felony property damage in the first degree, two counts of felony burglary in the second degree, and felony tampering with computer equipment.
Dr. Sheila Perry, superintendent, reported to the Stoddard County Sheriff's Department that the Bloomfield High School building was burglarized sometime during Monday evening and considerable damage was done to the interior of the building. During the investigation coordinated by the Stoddard County Sheriff's Department in conjunction with the Stoddard County Juvenile Office and Bloomfield Police Department, it was determined that over $30,000 worth of computer equipment and building property was vandalized and severely damaged during the burglary.
Both individuals are being held at the Stoddard County Jail under $75,000 cash only bond each.
