Speakout 4/6

Thursday, April 6, 2006

I'm just a bit curious and I wish the powers that be could explain to me where the logic is of withholding the identity of a 16-year old attempted murder suspect simply because of his age? There could be potentially hundreds of people who could tell them where this individual is. It's no wonder these kids are doing the things they do.

It is time to wake up. You can fool some of the people all of the time and all of the people some of the time, but you cannot fool all of the people all of the time. And now we are beginning to realize what a mess the commander in chief has gotten us in to. He keeps saying we are bringing democracy to the Middle East and just look at Palestine and Afghanistan. Do you call that democracy? And Iraq is nothing but a burial ground costing the taxpayers an arm and a leg. What we should have done is finish the job in Afghanistan and brought our troops home and we would have been prepared to take care of the terrible disaster along the Gulf Coast and would have the money to rebuild Mississippi and Louisiana. But no, the Texas cowboy stood up and said bring them on after he got us in the war in Iraq and brother, they are doing just that. This is the most corrupt administration in our history.

I would like to speak out to the poor working class of the state of Missouri and tell all of you to get out and vote for a different governor when the election comes around. It's totally ridiculous that our governor has cut out so much stuff for our people that get out and try to work that have jobs with no medical insurance. People you better remember all that he has taken from the citizens of Missouri and vote him out.

This is in regards to the flag dishonor. The American flag and the Missouri state flag both fly over the high school are both shredded and need to be replaced and taken care of. Also I would like to see better looking signs in the soccer and baseball tournaments. For that park to be so beautiful, the signs going into them are not nice looking at all compared to everything in the park and they need to be replaced.

I'm a single parent with three children. I do not have insurance through my work. My children did qualify for MC+ at one time and the governor has cut that where I don't qualify for that anymore even though I'm close to the line of poverty. I can't afford to put gasoline in my vehicle to go to work every day. Gas prices are outrageous. HELP. I need some HELP.

Hey Mike, I believe the American people would do those jobs that the illegal immigrants do if they would cut that welfare out, food stamps and Section 8. They'd be glad to go out there and go to work. I really believe that.

This is to BMB about that music that is so loud. I go to church at Temple Baptist Church on Jaycee and Jackson Street. Two times during our service last Sunday, the music in some car was so loud that it was rattling our windows. I don't think that is appropriate. Something needs to be done.
