SIKESTON - Martha "Pudge" Marable Wilson, 65, formerly of Charleston, died at 12:28 p.m. April 7, 2006, at her home.
Born Aug. 21, 1940, in Cairo, Ill., daughter of the late John Robert and Marjorie "Marge" Mow Marable, she attended Stephens College in Columbia following her graduation from Charleston High School. Since 1964, she had lived in Sikeston where she was a member of the United Methodist Church.
Survivors include: three sons and two daughters-in-law, Mark and Melissa Wilson of Glen Carbon, Ill., John Robert and Madeline Wilson of Sikeston and Chad Wilson of Sikeston; two grandchildren, Zachery Wilson and Brett Wilson of Glen Carbon; and a grandchild on the way.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until time for services at 11 a.m. Monday at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. The Rev. Roger Jespersen, pastor of the United Methodist Church of Charleston, will officiate.
Burial will follow at the IOOF Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jon Gilmore, Joe McPheeters, Allen Morris, Steve McCord, Jason Standridge and Mike Johnson.
Honorary pallbearers will be Kenny Vowels, Sam Oliver, Homer Oliver, David Oliver, Paul Hill, John Joe Bryant, L.F. LaPlant, John W.L. Goodin and Martin Stallings.
